1. Does L&P only offer internships in Merida?

Yes, we offer internships only in Merida, Yucatan. Being located directly in Merida we are able to attend our interns when and where they need us and to continuously ensure the quality  of our stuff (e.g. our language teachers, internship supervisors and host families). This gives you the advantage of having a contact person that you can turn to 24 hours close-by.

2. Is there any difference regarding my nationality?

At L&P, it does not matter where you come from. But we always recommend calling the International relations office of your country in order to be sure about visa regulations, or we will inform you about current visa requirements. Just send us an e-mail.

4. How long does the application process take?

To ensure the quality of our services your internship application form should reach our office at least three months before your planed arrival date. If you are only interested in an Intensive Spanish course and not in an internship, the application process normally takes less than two months. You should make sure to send your application early enough. Contact us for detailed information.

7. Which kind of visa is required?

8. Which kind of insurance do I need?

It is necessary to have an international health insurance, which must cover the entire period of your stay in México. You must upgrade your regular health insurance while traveling in a foreign country. Ask your local insurance company about more details. In case you should take part in an internship with high level risk (for example chemical laboratory work or structural engineering) we highly recommend taking an additional travel and accident insurance. Some enterprises require an additional third party liability (insurance).
