Does L&P only offer internships in Merida? At L&P, it does not matter where you come from. But we always recommend calling the International relations office of your country in order to be sure about visa regulations, or we will inform you about current visa requirements. Just send us an e-mail.
With L&P this is no problem! This is why we offer you an intensive Spanish course to prepare you before starting your internship! For details check out the Language section in Program.
To ensure the quality of our services your internship application form should reach our office at least three months before your planed arrival date. If you are only interested in an Intensive Spanish course and not in an internship, the application process normally takes less than two months. You should make sure to send your application early enough. Contact us for detailed information.
The internship’s length varies from 8 up to 20 weeks. Due to visa regulations, your entire stay can’t be longer than 6 months.
If for any reason we are not able to find you an internship placement that matches your needs before your arrival in Mérida, we refund the internship program fee.
If you wish to take part only in an intensive Spanish course, there is no need to apply for a special visa. In the case that you would like to do an internship, you will need a FM-3 visa (for non remunerated internships). For further information send us an e-mail.
It is necessary to have an international health insurance, which must cover the entire period of your stay in México. You must upgrade your regular health insurance while traveling in a foreign country. Ask your local insurance company about more details. In case you should take part in an internship with high level risk (for example chemical laboratory work or structural engineering) we highly recommend taking an additional travel and accident insurance. Some enterprises require an additional third party liability (insurance).
Of course you can! In addition to group courses we also offer one-to-one classes. You can also request information on specific language content, such as literature, business, or any other subject. Please contact us for more information.
The average age is between 20 and 29 years.
